Undergraduate Programs in Sustainability
A partnership of UW-Parkside, UW-River Falls, and UW-Superior
The undergraduate certificates share courses with the bachelor’s degree. Certificate students will receive credit for these courses if they continue to the bachelor’s degree program.
The bachelor’s degree is a degree completion program, designed for people who already have 60+ college credits or an associate degree that want to earn their bachelor’s degree.

Graduate Programs in Sustainability
A partnership of UW-Green Bay, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Parkside, UW-Stout, and UW-Superior
The graduate certificates share courses with the master’s degree. Certificate students will receive credit for these courses if they continue to the master’s degree program.
A bachelor’s degree is required for admission to the master’s degree and graduate certificates, however, exams, such as the GMAT or GRE, are not required.
Climate Leadership

3 courses. 9 credits. Focus on the principles of sustainability, climate science, and leadership with courses in the cultural and historical foundations of sustainability, leading sustainable organizations, and climate change.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

3 courses. 9 credits. Focus on the practical application of environmental, social, and governance reporting. Courses in applied research, triple bottom line, policy, law, and ethics, and the economics of sustainability.
Sustainability and Well-being

4 courses. 12 credits. Society’s well-being depends on supportive environments where we live, work, and play. Courses in health and wellness, organizational behavior, the built environment, and corporate social responsibility.
Sustainable Management

University of Wisconsin institutions offering the online bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sustainable Management, and certificates in Climate Leadership, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Environmental Sustainability, Sustainability and Well-being, and Sustainable Enterprise are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The programs have been approved by the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents.
