Our Campus Partners
UW Online Collaboratives (formerly known as UW Extended Campus) partners with all 13 Universities of Wisconsin to deliver our online degree programs, certificates, and courses.
Our campus partnerships enable us to offer programs that combine the diverse, interdisciplinary expertise, resources, and talents of UW campuses and faculty in an online learning format that extends professional, continuing, and lifelong learning to the people of Wisconsin and beyond—fulfilling the promise of the “Wisconsin Idea.”
What is a Home Campus?
When you apply to a program that has multiple campus partners, you will need to choose a home campus. If your program has one campus partner, that campus will serve as your home campus.
Your home campus will provide the following services:
- Financial aid
- Advising
- Career Services
- Diploma
Your choice of home campus is a matter of personal preference. Our campus partners share equal responsibility in the program, and you will take courses taught by faculty from all program partner campuses. As a student in one of our programs, you will complete your degree, certificate, or course entirely online. Your educational experience will be the same regardless of your campus choice, and your degree and transcripts will be identical to those earned by on-campus students.
