A Look at the Connection between a Facility’s Delivery Volume, Service Results, and Preventable Accident Performance

The objective of this project was to examine whether delivery metrics for individual stations within the FedEx Ground network would be able to predict whether one (or more) of its drivers would be involved in a preventable accident on any given day. The delivery metrics are measured in relation to the number of delivered packages on a day. The project examines the comparison to accident performance the following day.
