Support Guide to Assist Employees to Confidently and Successfully Navigate Organizational Change

The purpose of this project was to support HIMT and other healthcare employees in enhancing their own self-awareness and personal stamina to prevent fatigue and burnout given the constant change in the healthcare industry. The methodology of this project was to develop and present a customized PowerPoint presentation to serve as a self-awareness and support guide to assist employees to personally and successfully navigate through organizational change for ongoing success. Change theories were included to help individuals better navigate change transitions, as well as strategies presented to help reduce change fatigue and maintain necessary energy levels. This project aligns with AHIMA’s Organizational Management and Leadership Competencies, particularly assessing the impact of organizational change and facilitating training needs of a healthcare organization.
