Program: Health and Wellness Management
Host Company: Athletico Physical Therapy
Location: Chicago, Illinois (onsite)
Student: Logan Nichols

Work-related stress is an important topic in current healthcare environments given discussions surrounding healthcare employee burnout. Stress can come from multiple sources. The Health and Safety Executive Management Standards Indicator Tool assesses six sources of stress and is beneficial in understanding the sources of stress in worksites: demands, control, support with peers and managers, relationships, role, and change. The aim of the study is to assess the work-related stress of Midwest located healthcare clinicians. The assessment of work-related stress is important in order to improve working conditions and to strategically develop interventions to achieve positive results in a healthcare environment.
