AT&T Finance Operational Metric Reporting in Microsoft Power BI

This is a client-based project through an employer within the AT&T Finance Billing Organization, specific to Mike McGuire’s Carrier Billing Operations group. This project sought to consolidate financial and organizational performance data across multiple departments throughout AT&T Finance Billing Organization which are used to report on the client’s monthly metrics and operations review. The purpose was to migrate the current operations report which was compiled in Excel and PowerPoint into Microsoft Power BI. The objective of this project was to create as many dynamic reports in Power BI which were tied to source data warehouses. For the reports which were not able to be directly queried from the source data warehouse, the objective was to automate as many processes required for processing these reports, which included collecting data, performing queries, and creating visualizations. Additionally, the project sought to find ways to create a more efficient, accurate and timely reporting process.
