Building Wellness in Kiel Area Schools

Establish wellness committee, make information available on school district website, and work with benefits staff to understand how benefits is integrated with wellness.

Goals:

1. Form wellness committee team/liaisons
2. Work with district website coordinator to create wellness section on district website that is separate from curriculum links and easy to locate
3. Shadow benefits coordinator to gain hands-on experience of work in this role that connects with the district’s health insurance provider and health risk assessment/bio-metric screen process, and to strategize how the offering can be better promoted and delivered to staff
