The single use bags market is growing in importance within the biopharma space due to its role in the creation of monoclonal antibodies and other drugs produced by mammalian cells. My host company, which elected to remain confidential, wanted to perform a market assessment of this product to better understand their competition and ways that they can modify their own approach to selling their product. This project consisted of market research and utilizing the results found to form evidence-backed recommendations for the host company to utilize to update their strategy and become more competitive.
