The project is a business plan to organize the pathology and data resources of an existing anatomic pathology laboratory and make them available for research, education, and product development. The Datalog company will have a whole slide image repository with associated laboratory and other metadata containing at least six petabytes (PB) of information to promote health and wellbeing for people everywhere. This system will be freely available to anyone with a legitimate need under reasonable conditions and costs in keeping with the spirit of a digital pathology commons.
