The major tasks in my project were (1) researching the differences between HIM, HIT, and HI through a variety of sources, including universities, professional associations, and journal articles, and (2) compiling my research into a one-page summary of the differences, and an in-depth PowerPoint presentation detailing each field, its unique roles and responsibilities, potential career paths and educational requirements, the overlap between the fields, and how students can choose the right field based on their goals and interests. HIMSS
