Creating a business intelligence toolset for a state department of transportation to track project work and help deliver design projects on time and on budget. This toolset is made up of two dashboards and a web-tool for data entry. The first dashboard is aggregated data from all the current projects and has multiple warning categories that could signal issues for projects. The second dashboard shows project specific spending over time and shows when any of the warning signs have occurred. The last web-tool portion is for data-entry of future projected spending that will be compared with actual spending as time goes on.
