This project is designed to examine the rise of antimicrobial resistance in the pathogenic fungus Cryptococcus neoformans, which, along with many other pathogens as of late, has shown increasing signs of adapting to commonly used antimicrobial drugs that are used to treat it. This paper examines potential alternative methods of treating an antifungal resistant C. neoformans infection without exacerbating the issue of antimicrobial resistance
