Our team collects social statistics for our customers’ business social pages from four different social platforms. The company, being a website hosting business, also stores data for website traffic, online sales, and online scheduled appointments for the websites we host. Additionally, we have our customers’ basic business information stored, such as location and industry.
This project will combine these three datasets, and perform analysis to discover if there is a correlation between social ad campaigns and website traffic or sales. In the end, this study hopes to discover if one social platform outperforms the other overall, as well as if certain platforms perform better or worse depending on the business industry. Additional metrics such as click-through rate (CTR), likes, and impressions will be measured to determine this success.
