Development and Evaluation of a Serum PVT1 qPCR assay as a Potential Biomarker for Early Prostate Cancer Detection

This project was started to develop a serum-based qPCR assay for the detection of PVT1 exon differential expression for the purposes of early prostate cancer testing / screening. The objective was to screen older men and potentially track, predict, and add diagnostic tools for prostate cancer before it spread, and before it could be detected with other common methods, such as PSA.
