Development of Stock Trading Strategies by Forecasting Prices

The scope of the project is focused on using data science methods to design models that can be used as a framework for start-up to use profitably and sustainably in stock market trading. The characteristics and concepts of Moving Average methods, Regression, Neural Networks and Random Forest were explored and compared to develop an optimal model. This will be used as basic framework for the start-up and if proven successful can eventually be implemented at a larger scale that can incorporated with expensive technological hardware to be able to be executed in real time. It is important to note that the models created will be competing with each other for optimization and not necessarily with other professional firms.
