This project investigates how herbal teas marketed as nutraceuticals are labeled and regulated across major international agencies. The objective is to compare regulatory frameworks from the United States, European Union, Canada, and Australia to identify inconsistencies in product classification, health claim approval, toxicological disclosure, and consumer safety communication. By analyzing scientific literature and policy documents, the project aims to highlight gaps in current labeling practices and recommend ways to improve transparency, standardization, and consumer protection in the global nutraceutical herbal tea market.
