Over the past few years, thousands of RCR account charts have been piling and taking up valuable space in the HIM department, due in part to St. Elizabeth’s lack of scanning and over reliance on paper-based documentation. Thus, I was tasked with the project of organizing, and filing away these scattered RCR accounts to limit the hindrance that they are causing by taking up valuable time and effort from HIM professional when they try to locate missing RCR accounts.
