Flow Cytometry Transfer from Miltenyi Biotec’s MACSQuant to BD Bioscience’s Accuri and Transfer Optimization
Program: Applied Biotechnology Master's Degree — Research and Development
Host Company: FujiFilm Cellular Dynamics, Inc.
Location: Madison, Wisconsin (onsite)
Student: Alyssa Lynn Gawlik
This project involved acquiring flow cytometry data to be used for demonstration purposes with future potential clientele of FCDI. The goal was to1) develop a flow cytometry panel that included multiplexing, indirect and direct staining, and intracellular and surface stains, 2) show successful transfer of the panel from one instrument (BD Accuri) to another (Miltenyi MACSQuant 10), 3) demonstrate methodology for establishing ICH Q2(R2) parameters related to flow cytometry, and 4) discuss best practices in optimizing flow cytometry panels.
