For the purposes of this Capstone project, I will be guiding the process of aligning our immunohistochemical (IHC) laboratories across our three main specialty service laboratories within our Translation Sciences group located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Houston, Texas; and Royston, England. Representatives from each lab will work together through a common project plan to align resources, assess best practices, establish standardized operating procedures, definitions of service offerings, and templates for internal documentation of assay development, verification, and validation plans.
