This is a client-based project for Security Health Plan (SHP). Health insurance providers face challenges with member turnover. As many as 10% of members may leave the plan each year. This represents a significant expense for advertising and marketing to retain and attract new members. SHP would like to explore machine learning techniques to identify members likely to leave the plan. This would allow a more targeted approach to member retention. Medicare Advantage is a Medicare supplement plan and is one of the top priorities for SHP. Retaining Medicare Advantage members will be the focus area for the project.
