A custom software method was created for a spectrophotometer. A comparative study was performed between the current quality control protocol and spectrophotometer with the new spectrophotometer and method. The objective was to assess if using a different spectrophotometer that allows for greater throughput and automated data analysis could improve quality control testing efficiency without compromising quality of data obtained.
