The objective of this project is to troubleshoot and investigate the reason for low to no yield production of an enzyme and optimize any part of the purification process needed to achieve higher yields. This project involved experimentation around a heat-kill step during cell lysis where target protein was coming out with other unwanted cellular contaminants.
