The goal of my project was to test machine learning algorithms for image classification, specifically classify different golf swing images to predict at what stage of the golf swing the golfer was in. I wanted to test multiple algorithms to compare their accuracy and speed. I also wanted to determine in which ways can the image data be manipulated to provide better results such as using different color models RGB, HSV, HSL, etc. The idea would be to use this sort of tool to create an accessible golf instructing tool for anyone to upload pictures to.
