Mindfulness Course Design for Higher Education Staff

Developed a mindfulness course for employees addressing stress in the workplace including a marketing and promotion plan to launch the course. Development included working with subject matter experts (SMEs) in health, wellness, mindfulness, and adult learning.

Goals:

1. Develop a Mindfulness Course for UW Madison employees that will address stress in the workplace. The course will follow best practices for adult learning and instructor facilitation.
2. Develop a specific marketing and promotion plan to launch the course. This includes the materials and resources needed and timeline.
3. The individual will work with SMEs in health and wellness, mindfulness and adult learning to complete the project. The individuals will serve not only as content specific SMEs but also colleagues to support professional development and networking.
