A strategic approach is needed to optimize the enterprise hardware deployment process. An approach that focuses on usage characteristics and user behavior. Clustering algorithms were implemented to identify specific attributes that could help optimize hardware assignments to employees; where employees can get computers with technical specifications that match their profile and behavior. This research aims to improve the existing approach by addressing and identifying attributes that can develop a more strategic approach.
