The primary objective of this internship project was to improve revenue cycle management by reducing claims denials and enhancing third-party reimbursement. Through a meticulous analysis of denied claims data, collaboration with healthcare staff, and in-depth research into payer-specific requirements, I pinpointed key areas for improvement. Subsequently, targeted solutions will be designed to minimize future denials, ultimately streamlining the revenue cycle process and improving financial outcomes.

The capstone project was a transformative experience that significantly enhanced my educational journey and has had a profound impact on my career trajectory. By immersing me in a real-world revenue cycle management project, the capstone provided me with the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to practical challenges faced by healthcare organizations.
