My project was a case study on the analytic approaches major league baseball teams take as well as an exploration of predictive analytic techniques that can be used to further understand player success. Draft data, salary, and numerous other baseball statistics were used in this study to help get a better sense of how players should be valued. A predictive analytic model was created to discover which statistics have the greatest impact on player success.
