Reducing Environmental & Social Impacts Through Use of Cellular Agriculture: A Review

Program: Applied Biotechnology Master's — Research and Development
Location: Not Specified (remote)
Student: Delaney Soule

My capstone project culminated in a review paper and a grant proposal. The review paper focused on the environmental and social impacts of agriculture and how to counter those using cellular agriculture. Cellular agriculture has the potential to reduce water and land usage while helping to feed growing populations around the world. The grant proposal focused on how to further the cellular agriculture field, specifically creating a publicly accessible database with all information on cellular agriculture. The objective of this grant proposal is to reduce time and money spent on research projects for public institutions, while expanding access of information to researchers and lay people.
