Revising the WebSTAR Validation Plan

The WebSTAR Tracking Log application is a web-based tool that enables users to track and manage report processing. It stores information in one central repository which increases the data integrity, sharing and reliability and makes management of the information more efficient. The plan is to move WebSTAR from a server at the Donor and Client Support Center (DCSC) to a server in the Microsoft Azure (cloud) environment. With the recent upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, many applications have moved to a virtual workspace. Moving the WebSTAR application to a cloud-based location would make the application easier to access and free up server space.
