Scheduling Implications of Compatible Electronic Health Record System Implementation

Developing and modifying the traditional Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) Office of Access Management (OAM) scheduling practices will allow for accommodations that support the workflow of the Student Health Center’s scheduling process. Supporting the integration of Epic ^TM as it pertains to scheduling within the Student Health Center will allow for a seamless transition from the previous electronic health record system, Point and Click. Addressing common questions and concerns through the development of a FAQ will ensure a comprehensive consideration of the effects a transition in EHR will have on students and promote successful integration.
