My capstone assignment was to develop a website named SecureHealth Info, an educational interactive site with the goal of raising awareness about healthcare data privacy, cybersecurity, and HIPAA compliance. The objective was to simplify complex regulations and security policies into easier terms for various groups—like healthcare professionals, students, and patients—delivering content in simple, interactive format. The site includes best practices for protecting data, downloadable resources, real-life case scenarios of healthcare breaches, a HIPAA compliance checklist, and an interactive quiz. The project also provided hands-on experience in research, content development, web design, and health IT communication strategies.
