For this project, there was an unused area on the UW-Green Bay campus that was all grass and non-native plants. The grounds-crew at UW-Green Bay removed the plants and grass by using herbicide. The objectives of this project were to reduce the grass that needed to be mowed, to connect with students and to plant a pollinator garden. Through posters, emails, and talking with other students, there were over twenty students that helped plant the pollinator garden. This increases the habitat for pollinators and other animals on campus.
