This project focused on vegetation mapping throughout the Patuxent River tidal wetland using satellite imagery from 2007 and 2023. The objective was to measure the change in Zizania aquatica or wild rice over time as well as the change in scrub shrub and Phragmites australis between the two years. The project used ArcGIS Pro and Google Earth Pro and the final product was maps from each time frame, comparisons, and overlays.
