Tuberculosis Exposure Control Plan

The goal of this project was to revise and combine the Tuberculosis Exposure Control Plan for the hospital, and specifically the Perioperative division. Collaborated with staff to identify previous protocols and patient flow. Reviewed and analyzed compliance with the TB Exposure Control Plan. Discussed with staff about changes they would like to see. Researched current literature and guidelines to identify new processes needed and ones that needed revising. Sent previous plan to leaders and stakeholders to request their input and revisions for their specialty areas within the plan. Hosted meetings to collaborate with specialties that use this plan. Created visual education for both facilities. Educated staff on the new process and practices. Audited new process and gathered feedback.
