This course examines how communication works in personal relationships (e.g., friends, romantic relationships, family). Emphasizes mastery and application of basic concepts through extensive discussion of interpersonal goals, needs, and wants in personal affairs to facilitate the development of knowledge, insights, and communicative skills in dyadic, face-to-face interaction.
