This course introduces a number of the world’s major religious traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam) as well as several ways of studying these religions (anthropology, psychology, sociology, phenomenology, and economic approaches). (HC, 3 credits)
